Just a few of the questions we pose while scoping out the right venue for a client or learning about a new venue.
What are your must-have qualities- waterfront ceremony, no need for a tent in the event of rain, the flexibility of selecting your own caterer?
Do you have many guests that will need hotel accommodations and what will their price point be? Are these area hotels already sold out over Friday and Saturday?
What materials does this venue have on-site to cut back on costs? Take into consideration things such as the rental of chairs, tables, flatware, stemware, etc.
If you are booking more than a year out, will their pricing per person alter much before your wedding date? Can they quote rates for the next year within your agreement?
Do they host more than one wedding a weekend? Do they host more than one in a day? How detailed are you regarding design? Can you get the venue to put the earliest time the vendors can arrive to begin set-up into your agreement and do you and your wedding planner find this time favorable?
